Simple future tense

There are two basic future tense used to describe things that happen in the future.


the first future tense is the future WILL .

 S + to be + will + verb I


Example:
1)I think i will go to party next week.
2 The economy will get better soon

  1. We use will to give or ask for information or facts about the future
  2. We use will for plans or decisions made at the time of speaking
  3. we use will to predict the future 
  4. We use will to offer to do something
  5. we use will  to predict the the present
  6. we use will to agree to do something
  7. we use will to make requests
  8. we use will to refuse or to do something or talk abaout refusals
  9. we use will To promise to do something


The second is Going to. Going to is used express events you have already planned in the future and intetions for the future. we sometimes also use the present continuous for planed events in the near future

Example : 1) She Is going to  attend university and study to become doctor
                2) We are going to make the presentation next week

Function - going to

  1. We use going to for plans or decisionsmade before speaking
  2. We use going to to predict the future based on present evidence
